As the year comes to a close, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all of you for your support, generosity and patience as we finally launched our Hydroponic Farm! While we have achieved incredible milestones in 2023, our work is far from over. The world needs sustainable agriculture more than ever, and we’re excited to launch our End-of Year Fundraising Campaign to ensure even more sustainable growing and education for the future.
Thanks to your support, we have donated close to 300 pounds of produce this year, making our total produce donation since 2021 to over 700 pounds of hyper-local greens! In addition to our produce donation, 2023 was a huge year for our educational programming. Our educational programs expanded to new schools and communities, educating 785 people! We expanded our educational programming to Brentwood School, The Center for Early Education and Temple Israel of Hollywood, working with students from 4th grade through 12th grade. Our partnership with Beverly Hills Unified School District continues thrive, increasing our educational programming from three hydroponic towers to five towers, with the goal of getting even more throughout the district. While we love working with students, we also had the privilege of working with adult volunteer groups working with Chai Village, The Do Good Bus and Azusa Pacific College.
